The body of the Pro Tech Splint Boot is manufactured from three breathable layers. Outer layer is nylon for durability, middle layer is perforated neoprene for support and inner layer is a soft jersey for comfort. Rugged moulded shells are stratigically placed for protectionof the inner splint area, the tendon area and the fetlock area. Constructed with darts for a close clean fit and bonded with lycra to keep the dirt and debris out. Fastened with a simple but secure, easy on easy off system of velcroe straps. The Splint Boots are designed to absorb hoof concussion and shock. The patented Shock Absorption Tubes (U.S. patent #5,307,521) provide exceptional protection while allowing the boot to easily contour the horses leg. The stay-put interior cushion stays snug and resists slipping out of place. The boots gently cradle tendons and ligaments. Three hook and loop closure.
